Family Fun

With the holidays keeping us so busy, I’ve had the itch to finally get out there and take some family photos.  Luckily Robert, Shaun and I were able to get out yesterday after a quick thaw of the snow that fell this past week.  We ventured downtown and played in the rain.  Shaun got soaked but was having such a good time he didn’t want to leave, soggy socks and all.   There is no greater joy than being able to forever capture lasting memories with my family.

Robert even let me take his picture without making a funny face.  And hey look, there’s the person behind the lens.  I was able to get an assisted self portrait in.  It was a good day.

Moore Family Session: Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

Candace, Keith, and Adrick were kind enough to allow me to drag them out of their nice, warm house on a blustery October Saturday.  This session took place at the grounds of North Idaho College.   I could not have asked for a more easy going group to shoot.  Candace was a wonderful model and had some great ideas of shots she wanted.  I love people who are interested in the photos that are being taken and provide helpful info on what they want as an end result.  It makes my job so rewarding to see my subjects enjoying their time in front of the camera. Thanks guys, I had a great time.

Ready For Some Beach Weather

Given that it’s a balmy 15 degrees in the lake city, I thought it more than necessary to post some shots to remind us all that warmer days are in our future (albeit not soon enough). It was only forty degrees the day these photographs were taken, although you’d never know it with the amazing sunshine.  Oh how grateful I would be for some forty degree weather right about now.
